Thank you for being a part of our journey so far in delivering Vauxhall Square, an exciting opportunity to provide new homes, community facilities, open space and leisure opportunities for Vauxhall.

The Vauxhall Square site has the opportunity to be the heart of a new centre for Vauxhall.

Introducing

Vauxhall Square

We have held two rounds of public consultation to date, including on our vision in the summer of 2024, then on our emerging proposals in December 2024. We are currently reviewing feedback received and will be sharing more detailed proposals in the spring of 2025.

Starting to deliver
Vauxhall Square

Bmor, a specialist regeneration developer, has been looking at how the site can be delivered in a way that delivers more benefits for Vauxhall.
As one of the largest sites left for development in the area, it has the potential to link communities together, delivering needed facilities and green, open spaces, enhancing the offer of the new developments in Vauxhall whilst complementing this part of Lambeth’s unique character.
We are committed to supporting an inclusive local economy and want to speak to as many people as possible to find out what you want to see in Vauxhall.
Our emerging proposals include a number of ideas, including:

Supporting the Vauxhall Community

We are committed to supporting our local community. For every consultation survey we receive throughout the public consultation, we will make a financial contribution to the Vauxhall Gardens Community Centre Food Bank.
We will be back to consult on more detailed plans in spring 2025.

Local people wanted to see some space that provided services for them
Developed proposals for a new medical centre, and are in conversations with the local NHS Trust to design facilities around the present and future requirements of the local community.
There was a desire to see new retail and food and beverage offering that local people could access
Expanded our retail offering, with space that could provide for new shops, cafes, restaurants and bars.
Local people wanted to see new homes, including affordable tenures
Updated our proposals for new homes, which will provide circa 1,000 new homes, with a target of 35% at affordable levels by habitable room.

Across both of our public exhibitions and stall at the Vauxhall City Farm Christmas Market we engaged with over 400 people.

Following our second round of consultation we have continued to make a donation for every survey that has been completed to the Vauxhall Gardens Community Centre Food Bank.
